What should i choose? Malia or V Festival?

I bought my ticket for V festival 2011 last year, in the early bird season. The line up was revealed and i was really excited. The plan was, me and my friend were gonna go together, but this March came around and he failed to get a ticket. Now my friend has invited me to go to Malia instead with him in August over the same dates, for 7 nights and it looks so tempting! But now i really can't decide between them. Do i sell my ticket and go to Malia for a week? I've worked out in total i would need at least �1,000.00 for this. Or do i tell my mate no and go all alone? I would be spending less than half of what i would in Malia...HELP!!
